Back in 2001ish, I started a blog on a free hosting site just for the fun of it. I never expected that so many years later I’d still be tossing my thoughts onto a computer screen, but I guess I surprised myself. It has since become a dumping grounds of sorts for various thoughts, feelings, random websites, surveys, and pet pictures. This blog is a glimpse into my little world, and if you don’t like my world, oh well.

I go by Ami, but if you have some strange desire to come up with another name for me, by all means go ahead. I am currently living in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with my husband and our two puppies. My favorite number is 4, my favorite colors are somewhere in the purple/blue/green range, and my birthday is October 15, which makes me a Libra. I love reading, video games, snuggles, my fuzzy slippers, big bearhugs, and kitchen gadgets. I strongly dislike tomatoes, food with strange textures, stupidity, getting my hands dirty, headaches, the usage of “u” instead of “you” and most other forms of speaking unintelligently, standing on the tile floors in public locker rooms (any tile floors, really), and cold weather.
