Sometimes the simplest questions are the most difficult to phrase, so the purpose of this post is to further clarify a question I posed via Twitter, Facebook and email.
The question is basically this: If you were me, and you were looking to do something, what would you do?
I didn’t intend this as a “give me suggestions for activities with which to fill my time”, although I can understand how it was received as such. Here are some clarifications:
- Let me restate the first part of the question. If you had what you perceive to be my gifts/talents/intelligence/abilities (or lack thereof), what would you do if you were given the opportunity to do whatever you wanted?
- By “do something”, I’m referring to something more than simply changing a habit. Less of the New Year’s Resolution list and more of the Bucket List.
- Pretend there are no limitations.
Oh, and an additional life lesson for you: Never, ever, belittle flossing on Facebook when one of your friends is a dental hygienist.
Ami,
My suggestions for your bucket list?
-Fly a kite over the White Cliffs of Dover
-Trace the footsteps of your earliest known ancestor through the places they called home
-Ride in a hot air balloon at sunset
I’ve got more, but don’t want my comment to be longer than your blog post!
